Rainbow Steel are a professional Steel Band from Bath and have about 10 players.

Every year some of the youth bands from around the country join together in collaboration with "Rainbow Steel Orchestra". Last year 4 players from "Sounds of Steel" played Ave Maria for the Barbados Independance Day. Danny Sadler, Laura Eade, Sonia Judkins and Emma Lipscombe were the 4 people to experienced this. It took many weekends a lot of train journeys and many, many hours practice to achieve this but it was worth it !!! Thanks to all of "Rainbow Steel Orchestra" for the time and effort that they put in to teaching us, as it was a mammoth task !!!
