The Guitar Pans are mainly used for playing chords in most arrangements, these pans have quite a small range of 15 notes. Sometimes the Guitars take on the tune, but when strumming (playing the chords) we rely on them to give us the drive !!!

In our band there are just 2 Guitar Pan players, this is due to the volume that these pans produce !!!

Emma Lipscombe is not only the head of the Guitar section but the whole rhythm section and she has been playing on the Guitar section for about a year and a half, she used to play with Sarah Murphy (Triple Seconds) but now plays with Claire Naguib. Claire used to be in the percussion section and gained lots of rhythmic ability so we decided she would be better suited to the rhythm section of the band.
