Real Steel

Real Steel are a youth steel band made up of all females and are based in Plymouth. They have recently been crowned "The Best Youth Steel Band In The Country" as they won the steel band section in the "Festival for Youth Music"

Real Steel have toured in Barbados on 2 occasions, Amsterdam, France and Scotland as well as playing in all 4 corners of the country. In 1998 they performed at the Royal Albert Hall in the Festival of Youth Music.

Hammered Steel

Hammered Steel are a youth steel band based in Penzance. Hammered Steel are made up of both male and female Pan players. This band play pan to a very high standard and could compete with the best youth steel bands in the country.

Every year Hammered Steel do Gigs and Busk to make enough money to go to the Notting Hill Carnival.

For the last 2 years, Hammered Steel have performed at the Notting Hill Carnival "Pan on the road," none of the players from Hammered Steel have played "Panorama" yet but many of them are capable of doing it !!!

Steel Panic

Steel Panic are a youth steel band of about 12 players all of which have left school. One or two of the players have played with Real Steel for "The Notting Hill Carnival"

Steel Panic are based in Swindon and are known widely for their different styles of music from classical to reggae to calypso !!!
