Tenor Bass pans have a higher range than Six Bass, but generally plays the same as them. They have got four pans, with 16 notes spread over these four pans. Tenor Basses are tuned chromatically from low E to high F sharp.

We have 2 Tenor Bass Players in our band who are both new to pans. Michelle Fawdry and Katie Porter have been playing them since christmas 1998 but Michelle was in the percussion section last year.
